Its October already….

This year is flying by as we enter October 2024. I noticed that I hadn’t picked up a paint brush in over a month to get my large canvas painting finished. It has been sat on the easel in the corner of my studio looking at me and making me feel guilty, but I know as soon as I pick up a paint brush the enthusiasm will return and I will get back at it, but currently too many distractions…

I did however make the trip and popped into the Chichester Festival Theatre to look at the Redlands play vinyl wall art project they had asked local artists to contribute towards. The Redlands play is based on the events from the 1960’s house raid, arrest and trail of Keith Richards and Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones. See if you can spot my contribution.

One distraction I have been enjoying has been my DarkWood project. The last couple of months I have been scanning and readying for print another series of drawings from the sketch books. I have now another 8 ready and will work on the next 8 as I prepare for 2025 Emsworth Arts Trail and also a venture into the online selling world.
