Finally picked up a paint brush

As per normal, I have been busy in life and working on other things, drawing in my Darkwood sketch book, some small ‘This Britain shorts’ paintings which are currently still in progress. The main painting, part of the Project 2525 is underway, this painting was started many years ago based on a sketch for even further back in time. So I sketched in with an underpainting of the main character and also started on the foreground scene. This is a birds-eye view, looking down onto a high cliff with a river course and jungle below. I recall the inspiration which was about when do you fully feel the most alive, my conclusion was when you know it's about to end😀

its been a while but back to working on a new (old) painting

Happy with the progress, also the initial underpainting I notice one arm is longer than the other. Will be changed once I work on the main character.
