What next after the Emsworth Arts Trail

Well it’s over, 5 days of the Emsworth Arts Trail with over 480 visitors, lot of great feedback and support which is alway nice. The weather was little challenging at times as I try and use a lot of outdoor space to make the visit more of an experience rather than just here look at art with a zone for the ‘This Britain’ landscape series and another for the ‘Darkwood’ sketch books and then the studio is open. I even had a little science with last painting which vibrates….

On the one day it was sunny and warmish

So what is next, well I plan on a mini series of ‘This Britain’ landscape call ‘This Britain - shorts’, I am working on a set of 8 so keep an eye out for these. Also I plan on getting some large scale painting from my very old sketch book which has alway been planned but hopefully I will now make time for these.

Even branded mugs…

Darkwood continues, a few people suggest that the pictures from the sketchbook would be great in a book with the story behind. I had already looked to see how I could self publish as I wanted to create a archive anyway as these sketch book will not last forever if I keep leaving them out for people to scan through.

The Collector cards were the most exciting for me and well recieved, so more plans to come with these.

Early mock up of the packaging..
